Tower Wood Residential Visit

During the May Day bank holiday weekend, our Year Five and Six children are offered the opportunity to visit the Lancashire Outdoor Education centre, Tower Wood, in the Lake District to experience a variety of outdoor and adventurous activities such as abseiling and canoeing.

Extra-Curricular Activities

A range of extra-curricular activities that are organised by the staff and sports coaches take place after school. These include; football, high 5 (netball), running, hockey, rounders, athletics, cross-country, multi-skills, handball, dodgeball and gymnastics. These take place during different terms of the year and all staff who run clubs give their time up freely to run them. All we ask is that children take part in their club. All children are encouraged to take part in at least 1 active club during each academic year.

Please click on the link to visit our School Sports Partnership website. Here you will find more information about the activities that are on offer throughout the year. Some of the funding that we receive goes towards the running of the sports partnership and without it we would not be able to offer the range of opportunities to our young people.
